Once I did a basic portrait, I wanted to get something a little more artistic, so I went with a pose that shows her more mysterious and expressive side. So, my second sketch of Bettie.

Anger and Agony are better then Misery.
I am doing a lot more to add to the minimalist style I like to use. In this piece, I really wanted to keep it basic, but still get a good feel for the depth and the shading...
I think it turned out really nice. Just wish my scanner would make it a little more like the actual drawing when I scan it in... some of the more subtle shading is lost to the pixels.
